For those who love the classic combination of chocolate and hazelnuts, these are irresistible! Great with after-dinner coffee.
Ingredients (makes 16 small biscuits):
80g butter, 35g icing sugar
65g plain flour, 15g cornflour
half tsp vanilla essence, pinch of salt
one and a half dessertsp cocoa
one and a half dessertsp hazelnut butter (e.g. Meridian brand, available in health food stores)
Method:
Preheat the oven to 170C
Beat the butter and icing sugar until pale and creamy
Add vanilla essence and combine
Add the flours and a pinch of salt and combine
Add the cocoa and hazelnut butter and combine
Put into a piping bag and form the swirls
Bake for 14 minutes

Every three weeks our supper club or underground home bistro offers a dining experience for up to 16 people in our house in Balham. There is a set menu and you bring your own wine/drinks and have a dining out experience in a friendly, relaxed, homely environment. Timing is 7.30pm for dinner at 8.00pm, until 11.00pm.
